2026 Sunflower Charity Ride
Following our very successful Sunflower Charity Rides in 2023 and 2024 we will once again be holding the ride in 2026.
In 2026 we are offering the event on 3 separate days (Fri 1 May, Sat 2 May and Sun 3 May). Each day is the same this is NOT a multi-day event. You can book for any of these days however due to the very strong interest in the event you can only book for one of the days.
Each day will have a maximum of 50 riders.
You can purchase a maximum of 4 tickets each for friends and family.

The event will consist of 2 parts:
Part 1 - The Ride
It is important to note that the main aim of the event is to give riders an unbelievable and unique opportunity to ride through the million sunflowers. You will have ample time to ride through the sunflowers, take lots of photographs and enjoy the occasion.
Following the ride through the sunflowers riders will depart the farm and complete a 15km ride through an adjoining farm (farm track) as well as on gravel and bitumen roads. There will be minimal elevation on this route. This is not meant to be a long ride simply an opportunity do the only Sunflower Ride in Australia and to see more of the beautiful scenic rim countryside before returning to the Sunflower Farm for the Festival.
The ride is suitable for gravel bikes, MTB and legal E versions of these. Non legal E bikes will not be permitted.
Part 2 - The Sunflower Festival
The Sunflower Festival has become an iconic event in the Scenic Rim attracting many thousands of people each day. To find out more about this amazing event head to: Kalbar Sunflowers
You don't need to buy tickets to the festival as your entry is included in your registration for the Sunflower Ride. When the Festival tickets go on sale early next year you will be able to purchase add on experiences if you wish.
Timings:
Each morning riders will need to arrive at the designated carpark by 6.45am with registration open from 6.15am each morning.
The ride will commence at 7am with the ride through the sunflowers.
Full details including the meeting point, riding route will be sent to participants closer to the event.
The entry fee for this event is $60 (plus booking fee). This includes the organised ride, guaranteed entry to the festival and a donation to the Mater Foundation. Should you wish to make a further donation you can do that via this booking platform.
