"Get Into Gravel" - Rosewood
"Get Into Gravel" is an entry level gravel experience for those people looking to give gravel riding a go to see what its all about. It's for the new gravel rider with little or no experience. The day will start with some basic skills and bike set ups before heading out on a 30km loop from Rosewood. The ride has only 106m of elevation so minimal climbing required.
This event will be held on Saturday 4 February starting at Johnson Park, Rosewood at 8.00am.
The riding will be done at an easy pace with Ride Leaders and a support vehicle but you will need to be able to ride the 30kms so will need a reasonable level of cycling fitness.
At the completion of the ride we will have coffee and morning tea at Harry's Place, Rosewood. It is expected that the event will conclude at approx 10.30am.
The cost for the day (not including morning tea or bike hire) is $60pp.
You are welcome to bring your own bikes provided they are suitable for off road riding. E-bikes are welcome. Hire gravel bikes are available for the day at $60 each but you will need to book one as numbers and sizes are limited.

Suitable Bikes
For this event MTB and gravel bikes are both suitable along with E versions of both of these.
The event is NOT suitable for road or commuting style bikes. Gravel bike hire is available for an additional charge.
